Box026. Handmade Keepsake box, Tulipwood and resin box

Box 026
This keepsake box is handmade in my workshop from Tulipwood sourced from a local sawmill . It is made by me, using old and new tools and techniques. The lid has beautiful engraved thistles.
It is lined with maroon coloured felt and has antique style hinges and catch. It is finished with several layers of beeswax.
Each box is unique making a wonderful gift and can be handed down as a family heirloom. Perfect for keeping treasured mementoes.

The measurements are 200mm long x 130mm wide x 65mm high.
